If you’re interested in scuba diving, but unsure if you want to enroll in a scuba certification class, Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect way to test the waters. In a very short time, you’ll learn basic scuba skills and take your first breaths underwater. With beautiful clear blue water, shallow reefs and hundreds of marine species, there is no better place to try scuba diving than on Bonaire.

Learn some skills and go diving

Specifically for people who are not certified divers, we offer a PADI Discover Scuba Diving program. This program is a perfect way to literally discover diving and explore the beauty of the underwater world of Bonaire.

During a Discover Scuba Dive, an instructor goes over the basic theory of diving. After that, the program continues by practicing a few dive skills in our pool. This gives you the opportunity to breathe underwater for the first time in a safe and familiar environment. As soon as you are comfortable in the water and have mastered the dive skills with success, we go out to one of Bonaire’s beautiful reefs to do a real open water dive (maximum 12 meters/40 feet). The entire program takes about 4 to 5 hours.

Because this is dive training, there is a medical questionnaire involved. You need to be fit for diving before you start your course. Contact us for more information.
