Windjammer

The Mairi Bhan, a historical windjammer, ran aground on a reef in 1905. It remained stranded until a hurricane dislodged it in 1912, sinking it to its final resting place. The wreck sits at a maximum depth of 60m / 200ft, making it ideal for experienced divers with at least Tec 50 certification. Beneath the waves, the 240-foot-long wreck invites exploration of its intricate lattice hull structure. As you ascend, your decompression stops will treat you to the stunning views of one of Bonaire's most beautiful reefs.

Red Slave

Red Slave is a popular dive site for those seeking encounters with Eagle Rays and Stingrays in shallow waters. However, the real adventure lies in venturing deeper. At 60m / 200ft, you'll discover historic anchor fields, or you can chase the massive chains down to 120m / 400ft, where a large, ancient anchor from Bonaire's past awaits.

Karpata

Karpata Plantation was once a bustling hub for ships. Many vessels anchored off the reef but struggled to retrieve their anchors, leaving them behind. These lost anchors and chains have now become integral parts of the reef's ecosystem. The maximum depths for these anchors range between 60m / 200ft and 120m / 400ft, offering a unique diving experience.

Hilma Hooker

The Hilma Hooker wreck is shrouded in legend, but one thing is certain: it provides an unforgettable dive experience. Resting at a depth of 30m / 100ft, it's easily accessible for most divers. For those seeking more adventure, we offer guided tours inside the wreck, including a visit to the engine room.

Cooper’s Barge

Before Bonaire's desalinization plant was operational, fresh water was delivered by barge from Curacao. In 1972, one such barge, Cooper’s Barge, sank in front of the WEB facility, coming to rest at 45m / 145ft. Over the years, the reef has reclaimed the barge, turning it into a vibrant home for colorful corals and diverse marine life.

South Pier Wreck

Beneath the sands of Kralendijk's South Pier lies a small wreck that once belonged to Divi Flamingo's Divi Dive. Damaged during a storm, the dive boat sank to a depth of 50m / 165ft. Today, this wreck is a haven for large lionfish and a fascinating dive site for those looking to explore Bonaire's underwater history.
