The Emergency First Response® Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) course combines flexible online self-study and in-person training. It's your course at your pace. Practice a skill until you feel confident before moving on to the next one.

Emergency First Response® primary and secondary care training teaches you what to do in the critical moments between when a life-threatening emergency occurs and when emergency medical services arrive.

Learn how to perform CPR, provide first aid that eases pain, assess a variety of injuries and illnesses and practice bandaging and splinting.

Your experience

We dove into our Emergency First Response training with flexible online modules. Once we arrived at VIP Diving, we met our instructor and got straight into practical sessions. We practiced CPR on lifelike manikins, learned how to bandage wounds, and splinted mock injuries.

Role-playing different emergency scenarios helped us apply what we learned. The personal approach, relaxed environment and enthusiastic people at VIP Diving made the whole experience smooth and fun.

Course overview

Our courses combine convenient online learning with practical training. Start by completing the e-learning modules at your own pace, then join us for a session where our experienced instructors will guide you through essential skills.

PADI eLearning

2-4 hours

Online training makes it easy to fit a CPR and first aid course into a busy schedule. Watch videos of different first aid techniques and learn what steps to take in an emergency. Study online or offline, using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor if you have questions.

Training with instructor

4-8 hours

Learn eight essential skills for helping others in an emergency. Get hands-on experience administering CPR using a special manikin, practice bandaging and splinting, and apply your new skills in a role-playing scenario.
