PADI Open Water Diver
Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment on beautiful Bonaire.
Start your course in our own training pool which we use until you are comfortable enough for the ocean. We take our time conducting the course and take you to beautiful sites all along the island of Bonaire. The course is taught in small groups with a maximum of 4 people by professional instructors who care for the safety and fun of their student divers. We offer more personal attention, more fun, and a real quality dive experience and education.
The course consists of three parts: knowledge development, 5 confined water sessions, and 4 open water dives. Ultimately, the entire course takes 3 full days of diving when you complete the e-learning in advance of the course.

Add Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty
Combining this specialty with your Open Water Course requires only one additional dive at the end of your course. Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You’ve seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They more easily observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. You can achieve this, too. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course builds on the skills you learn in your Open Water Course and elevates them to the next level.

Add Enriched Air Diver Specialty
Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals. No wonder Enriched Air Diver is the most popular PADI specialty. Adding the EANx speciality requires no additional diving, just a short theory session before the final day of your Open Water Diver course.

Medical Questionnaire
All in-water training requires you to complete a basic medical questionnaire. At the point you start your training, you need to be fit for diving. For this reason you may be required to be cleared by a doctor prior to starting training. Contact us for more information.
