This specialty introduces the five species of sea turtles commonly found in the Caribbean and teaches you how to identify their unique physical and behavioral characteristics.

Offered in cooperation with Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire (STCB), this course emphasizes respect for the environment, safety, and fun. Book this course to learn more about the behavior of the sea turtle and how to interact with them.

Course overview

This course combine knowledge development session with two training dives.

Training with instructor

1 day - 2 dives

During two scuba dives, you’ll learn to observe and interact with Caribbean sea turtles responsibly, locate and identify sea turtles by species, record and document sea turtle sightings and behaviors, demonstrate respect for the marine environment and local rules.
