Why Hunt Lionfish?
Lionfish are an invasive species in the Caribbean with no natural predators. Their rapid multiplication threatens Bonaire’s native aquatic life and environment. To combat this, controlled hunting is permitted under strict regulations.

1 day - 2 dives

In Bonaire, hunting lionfish is only allowed through a dive operator using authorized marine park spears. Our PADI Lionfish Hunter specialty include knowledge development session, dry workshop to practice hunting tools, two training dives for actual lionfish hunting.

You’ll receive a PADI Lionfish Hunter specialty card recognized by STINAPA Bonaire, contributing to reef health.
