This course turns experienced TEC divers into extreme divers. During this course, you'll make dives as deep as 90m / 300ft, use multigas trimix computers, and handle up to 4 stage / deco cylinders.

The TEC 65 / Trimix diver course turns experienced TEC divers into extreme divers who go deeper and visit pristine sites where few others will ever go. During the course, you'll make dives as deep as 90m / 300ft, but once you earn this tough certification, there are few limits. Your training teaches you to build experience gradually and you do it because you've made it this far and have more exploring to do.

Requirements

PADI TEC 50 diver*

Have a minimum of 150 logged dives

Physician signed medical clearance

**Students who meet this prerequisite through a qualifying certification must provide proof of training in CPR and First Aid within the previous two years.

Course overview

This course combine self-study with practical training. Start by completing the knowledge development sessions at your own pace, then join us for a session where our experienced instructors will guide you through all the skills.

Self-study

Get your Tec Trimix Diver Crew-Pak that includes a PADI Tec Trimix Diver Manual, which you can start reading right away. You also receive a deep stop calculation table, trimix decal and emergency procedures slate as part of your pak.

Training with instructor

You will learn to use Helium mixes, EANx and oxygen for multiple stop decompression dives as deep as 90m / 300ft, how to use two or more decompression gasses (Nitrox and/or oxygen) to accelerate or add conservatism, develop the motor skills for technical Trimix diving, recognize the hazards and risks of Trimix diving, respond to potential emergencies at depth and at the surface and how to gradually extend your limits.
